NC23 Triarm coolant change?

Hi all,

Just dropped the old coolant out of my '23, the RRK has no radiator filler cap... I have filled up the expansion tank & all hoses I can access, the radiator top hose fitting points in towards the bike so I see no easy way of filling it from there?

Haynes gives you instructions for a '29, which DOES have a filler cap...

Any pointers please?

i have the rrk what you will have to do is take the tank off and fill it up striaght into the radiator top hat on the top right of the airbox :D

Oh and before you fill it up i would advice to radflush it to get rid of all the crap and gunk and rust in there.

i did this to mine and the system turned out perfect clean water at the end

When you fill the radiator and the coolant reaches the top, I find if you tilt the bike side to side as far as you can it helps to get most of the air out. When this no longer works, then put the tank on and start the engine.

Sorted! Cheers Adam, you have Karma...

In a cant-see-the-woods-for-the-trees fashion after you said I did remember there being a random filler under the tank, what a fkd-up place to put it!

Bike all good, plus I got to have a quick BWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! whilst it was still daylight...

RESULT.

My mate went to go for a ride on his 400 today, pulled out of his close a bit over-enthusiastically and high-sided it!
It's ok though, it's only a ZXR
