Misano Circuit, San Marino

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Been there twice. Each time I was in the Ducati grandstand right off of pit out and turns 1 and 2. I could see the finish line and there is a jumbo-tron as well.

The first time I went I stayed at a campground that is walking distance from the track. Sat night was one hell of a party! The last time we stayed in a hotel right on the beach. There is a lot to do in Rimini and if I were you I would take a trip up to San Marino, which is about a half hour away.

Ben,

Been on holiday to Rimini (& oh look WSBK is on) ;)

Very easy to get from Rimini just get a 1 euro ticket for the train & less than 5 mins you are at Misano Adratico, get off the train & walk to the track. This will take you about 10-15 mins, great walk with all the bikes going past.

Great viewing all round had general admission, watched from the back straight with the kink.

Great track, great holiday. Will keep the wife happy.

If you want any help/info get in touch.

Hope this helps

Joe

I might have to put it on the calendar! The wife and I were talking just tonight about coming to see you this summer when it was too damn hot to enjoy Italy....

Do it.. (come over here that is). Just let me know your planning as if ym wife is still woking (at school) then it might be a touch stressed.. However it works, I'll still chuck you guys in my "guest wing" and as I said, they can go shopping..we'll hit Cadwell and Donington up!

My wife really badly wants to go to Italy so I'm planning on getting over there in the summer with her. I was planning to hire a car and get out and about and would have been in touch as I am sure she'd like Pisa and Lucca too..

Pretty impressive Hijack of this thread, even if I do say so myself..

Sorry Ben..

Anyways, what is Misano like?

I am riding there with a lad off the pbmagforum - We are going to get a cheap hotel and crash there for the 4 days. Gives us secure parking and somewhere that might be cool enough to sleep..

Thread highjack

What hotel are you stopping at Mark? How did you find a hotel with secure parking as i've been searching like mad and not many hotels list this which is a major bonus for bikers?

I'll find out the name and let you know. If you are getting down with it then would be cool to hook up and have a beer.

Will send you the details when I get them of the dude sorting it out ;)
