Aren't they really strict on noise limits?
and also fairly expensive and uncommon?
Just saying what I've heard!! It may be a load of nonsense!

Re: Castle Comb?
Is just down the road from me - Yes, the locals do make a habit of complaining about the noise... (WHY IN THE NAME OF FK DID YOU BUY A HOUSE NEXT TO A RACETRACK THEN, YOU BUFFOON???) - so best dig the baffles out... the noise-testing is done all session in a certain part of the track, if you have the necessary restraint & will power not to give it Full Gas in this part then hey - you may get away with taking your baffle back out - but Testosterone usually dictates you will go BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! and get Blackflagged....Smev wrote:Aren't they really strict on noise limits?

Expensive?? Gunning your 400 with others at full tit with no speed limits or Plod to worry about isnt "Expensive"...
Its Priceless.

Re: Castle Comb?
I'm in the RAF and we run Trackdays on the airfield (see my thread about it) - its only 65 miles from Trowbridge, and the days are cheap - £60 i think (and there is a 105Db limit) but I'm the one who does the testing so I'm sure any 400cc or 400gb members will pass!!

Re: Castle Combe?
good point well made about the spelling.
I don’t think they’re that uncommon.... every 2 weeks for bike trackdays during the summer months and available from castle combe website - £125 so not £lots for what you get!
I want to make a habit of it next summer so any other 400s there would be cool!?
And what RAF base? RAF Keevil? sounds good.
