compression tester, which one.

Post by Davez29 »

With the NC29s disliking of anything stuffed down its spark plug holes, including spark plugs I was wondering what type of compression tester you men use, is it a soft hose type or rigid type on the bottom of the hose . Im going to do this and my valves next week so need to know before I buy one, thanks.

I have a Draper one - you also need to buy the adapter, but iirc that makes it long enough for easy fitment.

So has your draper got the long metal tube or is it hose all the way down to the adapter, thats the bit im wondering about as I dont know if you can screw the hose one into the head easily.

You may need a 10mm adapter but they are £4 from the same people.

It has the metal tube plus the adapter at the end of the hose.
