Did I make the right choice?

Post by Hissing sid »

Morning All

With the wife starting divorce proceedings and deciding she has the family car, I had to get one of my bikes back on the road so i can commute 6 miles to and from work etc. the Choice was either my beloved 91 reg NC30 in a red and black scheme, or my 96 reg VFR750

I decided upon the 750!!!!
Did I make the right choice? I'm not so sure now!!!

what do u lot think?

Regards

Neil :rocks:

I think you did, especially for this time of year. You need road presence and possibly the need to carry luggage now and again?

Keep the 30 for weekends and summer or track it 8-)

Yeah...but Donny is not as hilly as Sheffield!!

I used to cycle 10 miles each way...but now I have to commute to Wakey which is 35 miles.

Saying that..I'll cycle that in the summer, just for jollies ;)

lol..

I'll probably walk it too.....as training for the Keswick to Barrow walk.. (check it out.)

I walked to and from work twice a week last year in training and cycled the rest..

I think some money wants wagering eh Mick?

Mate I'll sponsor a good cause if you're putting that sort of effort in.
But will you sponsor me on my next venture? I will be attempting to do 36 laps of a circuit you may have heard of, Cadwell Park.
It will be a track day so if you fancy sponsoring me a couple of quid per lap that'd be great.
Cheques to
Mick's need for speed on an NC30. ;) ;)

And in answer to the original question, I'd keep my NC30 before anyother bike. Made the mistake a couple of years back of thinking I needed something faster. Ended upselling the ZX6 and buying another 30.
Your chouce mate, I know what mine would be.
