Paint or Carbon Wrap

Post by hallsie »

I need to get my rear seat fairings painted but am struggling to find anybody to take them on locally ( not a big enough job for the bodyshops I've tried so far) so I am toying with the idea of carbon wrapping them instead , has anybody tried this stuff on awkward shapes as this looks like it could be a bit of a pig to do but Im not quite sure if the look would go though :!:

Not sure of the carbon wrap but have you thought about getting it wrapped in a standard colour if it can be done, there was someone on pbmagforum doing this and the results looked pretty good

Im not exactly local but if you can get them to me i'll paint em.

I gota admit im not a fan of carbon wrap, to me the whole point of carbon is for its light weight and high strengh, cant really see the point of covering stuff in look-a-like carbon, its a bit like having fake carbon levers :Puke:
