nc24 stators, Which one?
Electirix world are telling me there are 2 types of stator that fit the nc24, how can i tell which one to order without having to take the cover off.
IE. Frame number , year of manufacture or some other way....

I think the change over was on the RH2 models in 1987. I'm sure Neo could clarify.

It was late RH-I's but theres no reliable way from looking at the frame number.
Plus if somebody has changed it before you might well have bigger stator / smaller stator.
Best to check.

Take the genny cover off (6 x 8mm head bolts), remove the flywheel (undo the 14mm bolt and screw in the M20 x 1.5mm bolt to pop the flywheel off and inspect the rotor.
Reassemble using a bit of silicone on the genny case and your back up and running
should take about 45 mins from removing the side-panel to putting it all back together to have some measurements :)

Ok had a go and found this mess. looks well fecked, sorry about the delay but its been a bit stormy over here lately. and then some....lol.
