front end upgrades

Post by spongy.bob »

Hi all,

I looking to do something with my front forks in the near future and need some inspiration. I'm open to all ideas, from upgrading the internals, to different complete front ends.

So, what have you got/done with yours? What was involved in doing it? Is it any good, and of course, how much was it?

Ok, so the Rick O kit. I know force-v4 had this done by the professionals. Has anyone fitted it themselves?

Yeh did mine myself with a fair few phonecalls to rick thown in as I was fitting tyga fork tops as well. He supplies really good instructions but the haynes was good for backup :)

Great stuff.

So what about more exotic options like fitting VTR or CBR or even Ducati forks and front ends?

Then it becomes a question of what actually you want?

Performance or looks?
