Hi mate its the Hub that gets converted so that the 4 bolts which hold the rear wheel on screw into it.

Also as mentioned - its the 750 rear wheel (rounded curvy spokes) as the 800 (flat+angular spokes) is too wide.

Rick does the conversion on an exchange basis - send him your hub and you get one back that has already been converted I believe.

Obviously this isn't just to make the rear wheel wider but makes it a 17 inch tyre which gives better choice of rubber!

Other conversions are available - the Honda Bros 17" rear, rvf 400 wheels fit straight on, and I belive that there is an NSR250 which fits but runs the wrong way round.

Hope this helps.

Nearly right Smev, it's the rs250 wheel that mounts on the left-hand side. NSR mc28 rear wheel will bolt on (including magtek from the SP).

If only honda put it on the RH side on the RS, it would be easier to find mags!

Is there a 750 18" wheel.
I just like the look of how the bike sits with an 18"
Spose i could put a 16" on the front.

I got a PCD facility on my millers DRO.
But i thaught the centres were machined out of the wheel to fit the origonal nut n spacer setup ?
like this.

Are there any isues with the wheel being out of line ?
Can the 7 spoke be used from the 750 ?
Has any 1 got a 7 spoke 750 wheel they wanna sell ?

I've often wonderd if theres suitable clearance for the early fireblade 16" wheel... (130/70/16)

Was thinking about doing it on the 35.. however the front is nearly as wide as the back.. would have to go upto the 160 on the rear..

It'd handle like an NC24 then (18"/16") but with better suspension and tyres, I think it'd be really chuckable :)
