Placement of Wheel Decals..

Post by silentRVF »

Hey guys,
I bought a set of these:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWNX:IT

Got them today and going to install them to see if I like them or not.. Obviously the placement on the rear rim doesn't need to be in the same place as the front rim as they never stay in sync anyways.. However, I don't know if the decal should be placed in the same position on each side of each rim..

Do you think they should be:
a) placed on the same place on each side (ie the decal is at the front edge on the left and right side of the rim)
b) place in differing places on each side (ie the decal is at the front edge of the left side of the rim, while it is at the back edge of the right side of the rim)
c) it doesn't matter because you don't see both sides of a rim at the same time

What are your opinions?...

A, B & C.

I think you answered your own question.

I'm yet to meet somebody that can see the left and right hand side of the wheel at the same time...

White wheels will look better than these decals ever will!

Option D (in the bin)

I'm only kidding, i've seen some that do look quite nice. Just one on each wheel tho, not going all the way around as this looks crap imo.

White wheels though :D

Well the decals don't look too bad but when exams are over I will definitely be getting my wheels powdercoated white!

Ill upload some pics of the rim decals in a couple weeks.
