Could you not use an "easy out" and sort it out that way? Gotta be worth a shot, save you getting a new set and possibly having to strip clean an new oring those.

What carbs do you have fitted?

I have a bank of Mikuni BDST32s which should fit. They are jetted for an FZR400RRSP but I don't think there is much of a difference in jet sizes.

Arnt the carbs downdraft on the fzr? not sure they fit.
Are the screws completely gone? is there any slot left. They can lock in due to the oxidation of the ally body due to the sping corroding. If you get good quality penetrating oil (not wd40) then stand the carbs upside down, you can soak the screw a few days and they come out.
