G3 after laquear
Rightio,
As some of you know (from my repeat asking) that i have painted my fairings.
They have come out actually suprisingly good compared to the state the panels were in.
Anyway I painted them on Sunday and put them in a fully insulated shed with a heater on all day so they had a good chance to dry.
Then i have left them in a spare room for a day and half.
Will i be able to G3 these yet or should i wait even longer?

wait, you cant rush the making of a baby, that takes 9months so give it 9 days before polishing otherwise your time, efforts and costs will be out the window and youll be stripping it all and starting again.

Re: G3 after laquear
dude i know the feeling when i stripped my forks a few weeks back everything was planned, everynight was set to do another layer etc, i ended up NOT lacquering them as the wife made me fall 3days behind! so now they just have to heavy coats of gloss black, with big silkolene stickers as chip protectors, chownsy wrote:damn it ill miss the deadline for the calender and be pushing it for when needing the mot lolrickyb_dj wrote:wait, you cant rush the making of a baby, that takes 9months so give it 9 days before polishing otherwise your time, efforts and costs will be out the window and youll be stripping it all and starting again.

I wasn't too popular last time I did that. I got distracted by a very long phone call, you can guess the rest
