Rubber flaps on an NC30
Im fitting a rubber flap/wind deflector thingy to my Seed NC30 in the hope that it might cure a top end flat spot.
My question is. Does the lower flap/ the larger one point forwards and rest on the engine near the front spark plug leads or does it flip back towards the carbs??
I know the top flap rests under the carbs.
Ive checked all five of my NC30's and it appears the previous owners didnt have a clue either!!

I just cable tied it to the frame tube that runs in front of the airbox. Close enough!

I think the lower flap goes forward over the cam cover to direct the incoming cold air into the airbox, the upper flap under the cards to reduce hot air rising from the engine, into the airbox.
Thats the way I did it.
Dave.

Re: Rubber flaps on an NC30
i have the big flat over the head covering the leads so it acts like a form of weather proofing and "hopefully" keeps the rain from getting near the front plugs.
