a little help needed
hi i was just wondering if anyone has experianced this before, it will only go to around 110mph (on my very long private road mr officer
and it feels like the power is surging in and out slightly, it doesnt feel like a misfire or a full cyclinder loss and it doesnt pull that bad throught the revs. now for what ive done, it had a m-max box on it and ive tried it with and without it. ive fitted a mph convertor so it shouldnt be hitting the restricted speed in the clocks. and ive give it a full service, including 4 x plugs, oil + filter, cleaned air filter, removed carb bowls cleaned them and all the jets out. i was hoping this would clear it as i found a couple off the carb inlet rubbers werent tight so would off been sucking in air but no luck, has any one had this before????? i have another Cdi that im going to try tonight ( when my private road is clear) but any help would be greatly apretiated. cheers in advance

Re: a little help needed
Finding HRC parts is harder than finding gold in the ground and the price/weight ratio is similar too. Some parts come up on yahoo auctions japan from time to time but most sellers don't ship outside japan. My girlfriend (a japanese) spoke to the HRC manager a couple of years back and learned that 'kit' parts for the 30/35 are no longer produced and most old stock is depleted although some dealers may still have stock.
just keep 'em peeled.

Re: a little help needed
i would replace the carb inlet rubbers if perished, see how it goes......failing that......
i had the whole surging thing happening at the top of the rev range with my RVF when it was running 116s all round. after a dyno tune, main jets were changed to 112s, when cured it and pulling even stronger. check your main jets and your f/a screw, against with any performance mods you have. it would also affect your top end.
rick oliver on the site has HRC replica expansion bottles and jet kits. best option i would think

cheers. the rubbers arent split but there are abit solid so they might not be sealing propaly. and i know the bike has been tracked before so fueling could have been messed with, ive got a mate who has a dyno so when hes next on it i will pop down and get him to spin it up. and by the way, just went out on it today and now ive set the suspension up is handles like it on rails! i was amazed the best handling bike ive rode, the super corsa pro 2's help aswell. cheers guys
