NC30 fairings from ARD Racing

Post by SimNC30 »

I'm thinking about getting some new fairings from ARD Racing. I've had a look on their website and they do stuff for the NC30 which is reasonably priced. I called them to ask about fitting, what you get for the money, what they are made out of etc and the guy on the end of the phone was really helpful - just wondered if anyone has bought stuff off them - was it any good? Did it fit well?

ARD Racing used to make on a occasion expensive carbon fairings too for the NC30/NC35, but that a very long time ago, someone on here has them fitted on his bike I believe. Sorry, no experience with their products myself. But I tried to visit them back in '05 when located in Newcastle Upon Tyne for a set for the NC30. Not sure if they are still there.

Gavin - at the moment I'm looking at a standard set of unpainted street fairings seat, nose cone and sides, the lot - how much would I be looking at for a set from you? Also, can you source standard shape fairings in original colours?

Gav, how much are the silhouette fairings? I know what they were a couple of years ago and given what has happened to Stirling then I can guess they will not have got cheaper

Cheers for that, but it doesn't have the prices for the silhouette stuff. I guess it is now on the 'if you have to ask you can't afford it' range

it is not worth getting it at the moment unless you are loaded as it is working out at silly money with the rates on the pound

It is a pity that the exchange rates are way off at the moment :( I am on the hunt for a nice kit though but I am not in a hurry, this is a sort of pre-winter project thingy.

But Gavin..on the tyga site I just noticed the offers for all painted kits...?
