I think model shops used to sell reels of self adhesive pinsripe of varying width in an assortment of colours/shades. The same company made a shrink film to wrap airframes.

Not entirely sure if both products shared the same name, but the film was called 'solar film'

Hope this helps

there are some vinyls available in similar colours, unfortunately not quite standard and hence more expensive, if there is enopugh interest i could invest in some and knock out enough for a full bike for around £7.50 a set with postage

like said though if you try even motorworld or halfords they do various standard stripes and may have the correct colour.

have tried halfords no success still to try the model shop though , the painter suggested trying classic car restores but not had time . vinylmark said he mighy be able to sort some out but i think he would req to sell a few kits to make it viable doing them understandable really , but if i get some will pass on details from where bud.

quick update,

got a sample of the vinyl i had in mind, about 10mm square, just need to compare it against my bike and see how it looks, might not be perfect but it looks good, will update once i have chance to get my bike out. Will then find out how much i need to buy as my supplier told me he doent stock it, hence why the sample is so small.

the only positive thing is this is also the nearest match to the fzr gold decals so buying a bit wont be lost.

i even tried the biggest sign company in the area and he had nothing remotely like, only standard gold or standard silver.
