Reading
Hi Guys,
I recently moved to Reading for a job, and my nc30 is coming up for its MOT. It also needs 2 new tyres to get it through
I'd usually take is to Sean Davies in Colchester as hes a bit of a specialist with them, but i cant fit the trek up into my schedule!
Does anyone know of a decent place (preferably someone who knows the bikes well) in or around Reading that can do the job while i wait? Any recommendations?
Cheers,
Matt

Re: Reading
Hi Matt, Im just up the A4074 from you in South Oxfordshire, I take my bikes to Premier Bikes in Didcot which i suppose is about 20 miles from you. They are ok, and reasonably fair, another smaller place Near Abingdon too forget there name i will look into them for you.
If you get sorted locally let me know. You maybe interested in a few bike meets locally too. Every Monday night at Foxs diner Nr Berinsfield. A good ride from Reading on the A4074 towards Oxford. The meet gets about 200 bikes every week. Some get there on sunday lunchtime too. I may see you around, we dont get many nc's around these parts!!

Re: Reading
I will try and find out what the other place is called nr Abingdon. Its quite a small village garage so might be more lenient than Premier Bikes. Yeah would be good to meet another nc rider. Foxs diner meet every monday from 7ish onwards you cant miss it there are bikes everywhere!! And thats a lovely road from Reading to Oxford!!

Re: Reading
I might be able to help, am in Staines (which is a direct train journey from Reading). Good local tyre fitters and MOT place here and could give it a once-over and get the wheels off for tyres. Could sort the lot while you are at work etc.

Re: Reading
Cheers for the info banoffee, looks like good work you do mate! Unfortunately my work is west of Newbury in a tiny hamlet that is virtually inaccessible without a car or bike
It would be a big hassle to come out that way so ill try and find somewhere a bit closer. Thanks for the offer though
Matt
