lost keys
Anyone know where I can get a complete lock set for a CBR400RRL NC29?
Lost the keys, which included the ignition and petrol cap key and also the boot release key.
Could cost a few hundred to get a locksmith to cut new keys through moulding, probably easier to just replace.
Any thoughts/advice much appreciated :-)

Re: lost keys
no problem :) I had my FZR stolen, well the previous owner had so when I got it off him, the first thing I had to do was order new set of keys etc as it was all damaged. Mine arrived used from Ireland and I paid 45pounds so it was more expensive than that one new

Re: lost keys
Little update. Found the keys with a bowl from the kitchen and a radiator bleeding key under a tree in the back garden.....that's the last time the kids of those friends will be allowed out of site here...lol.
Anyway, sods law, I found them in the afternoon. That morning i removed the ignition from the bike. A company called GemSec in Bristol tried matching the key number but it was not recognised due to being an import.
I took the ignition unit to them and the next day I picked it up, with a new key cut.....AND had a second boot/petrol cap key cut from the original.
All only cost me £22.50 and they gave me two extra key fobs.
Bargain and a brilliant company. They will do work by mail and well worth it IMO. I'm a very happy customer :-)
