BT090 - the law but will square off the rear
BT092 - bloody good and will last for ages...but not as grippy or sweet as BT090

Alpha 10 - even more grippy than BT090 (apparently) but will wear down fast.

The compromise choice - BT092 rear and BT090 front. Is what I've used for ages and have a spare rim with a BT090 for weekend blasts and trackdays..

090 front & 92 rear is apparently a good grip/longevity relationship.
When the mind is relaxed, the body will go faster! 8-)

well I don't have a nc30 I have an nc29 but I use the same setup for both commuting and when out for a blast. I've ridden in sun, rain, early morning ice, and the odd bit of snow and never had a problem, put it this way my 090 front has just been renewed as it was just about down to the legal limit and I still have about 3.5mm on my rear.

got bridgestone BT090 rear and front? my bro has an NC29 :P i had a go other day, and the position is fairly different to a NC30, your arms are more outstretched on the NC29, but the seat is comfy :) where as NC30, more upright position due to 18" back wheel lol, and not stretched out as far :) :rocks:

I wish I'd known this before I ordered a pair of BT090's for my track project last week :(

CMSMJ1, what do you use on your race bike? You're still on an 18 at the rear aren't ya?

I have 2 RVF wheels, 4 VFR wheels and a Bros wheel.. So I have supercorsas, inters and wets on the 17s and on the 18s I have BT090s in various states of wear..always good for TD though/

I buy squared off ones and kill the edges ;)
