Possible to take L/H switch gear of?
Hi there
As I'm going to use my nc29 as a trackday bike I wonder if I could pull the L/H switch gear of without any issues? From the wirering from the switch gear there goes to wires to a switch on the clutch lever. What is that switch good for? Does anyone know?
I have tried to disconnect the L/H switch gear and I could strat the bike, put it in 1 st gear, so it doesn't seem to cause any trouble... But is there some (eg. does it go into restriction mode or something)? What do all you racers say?
Kind regards
Martin

restriction mode is only between the speedo and CDI. disrupt between the two and you'll get that issue.
if track daying the bike. some people remove the speedo to save weight. if so, install the restriction mod to the CDI end of the bike
LHS switch gear comprises of:
indicators, headlight/high/low/on/off.
just unplug the switch gear from the loom and see what happens. i dont think you'll have a problem.
