ummmm i just bought these, anyone had any experience with them, im not sure what the quality will be like or anything, i guess its a case of you get wot you pay for, and they were fairly cheap

I bouught a gold set about that price for my Jones Brothers Custom frame project Fitted em but haven't used em yet Seem ok for the money though

I had a set on my NC30 once.

They were a bit hit and miss with the quality - the first ones I got were great - strong, looked good and simple to fit

After I had a slow speed off they got pretty mashed up so not that strong.

The replacement parts I got were poor quality - they were weak and when applying any pressure to them when riding made them bend - not what you want when you're blatting around a track - having to concentrate on not having you're feet slide off and into the chain or rear wheel!

I opted for some WR's - the Battle step which are far far better IMHO.

There good for 'looks' but like smev said, can break easily and arn't really upto spec for track use. Would probably be ok for a road bike

cheers for yer input fellas, there be goin on my road bike, they dont look too crummy for the money , and for less than 1/3 of a decent set im not hoping for too much out of them , just summit to replace my tired out shabby lookin OE's for the time being, will report in when fitted

not heard anything good about these had a few customers with problems of them bending and snapping I would not want to risk my life on a set of steps made out of cheese metal as one my customers put it.

ok they arrived today , they dont look too bad and seem to be ok all round, not too flimsy lookin and ive noticed the text on the sets says yoshimura racing 2010 so they must be new style or just a new pad printer.
but there are still problems ,,,,,,
1. they have no provision for the brake light switch so can anyone point me in the direction of a inline pressure switch type thing ive heard ill need to use,

2. the return spring for the brake lever has nowhwere to attach.

3.the heads on the bolts for the standard rearsets are a fraction to big to sink in the holes on the new rearsets, so does anyone know the thread size of the the bolts to attach them to the frame so i can try source some different ones.

4. the gear link rod supplied has diffrent ends what type of fittings will i need,



in all a bit cheesed off , but then what did i expect, any help please guys cheers

yeh dude they look like the second set smev (now I) had unfortunately but they may b ok u never know.

the pressure switch u can just get off ebay, thats where I got mine, u dont need a return spring, I never have and iv even see motogp bike with just a rubber band for a return spring, its not needed just stops u resting ur foot and actuating it. the bolts ul just have to measure them and go to abolt place to sort some out. and to attach that rose joint u just need a bolt through the hole through the lever and a nut on other end.

Smev I think ur first ones are a differnt type of rearset, looking at yours they look more like the motolanna/diamond black rearsets avalible and work really well (even after I hammered them strait) these second ones are noticable worse quality, Im just using the pegs and toe pegs from them on repaied set as the ground ones wouldnt get through scruit.

another option with bolts is if u can get a lathe just wack them on and turn the heads down a bit
