Holes on the tank?

Post by Phil_Norwich »

Probably something simple.

Whats the hole on the tank for? Or does it serve no purpose.

I know the l/h one is for a seat cowl, but can't figure the other one out.

If anyone can enlighten me.

Cheers, Phil.

Phil, neither of the holes are used on the nc30 tank. The frnt of the seat unit bolts to the 2 metal threaded lugs on the frame.

It might have to do with the manufacturing process? :?:

Could have been a last minute panel / frame change.

The NC24 uses these holes as side-panel holders.

Aah cool, cheers.

I knew the threaded one was for the cowl, just thought I'd ask about the one on the tank out of curiosity.

Cheers, Phil.
