Sorry more questions, and bargain 73a parts
I have quite a few questions and hoping the experts could help me out on here.
Firstly I have a gk76a track bike. It has leaking front seals due to slight pitting on the forks. They have been replaced with pattern seals recently but did not hold after a day at the track.
They are SP forks with the adjustment so not so easy to just replace. My mechanic said one option is to get genuine Suzuki seals as they could be stronger and may have double lips.
Does anyone have an idea how much they may cost? I will make a few calls tomorrow, however I also heard that RGV forks are the same. Would the RGV seals be cheaper being they are more common?
Do any other forks fit the 76a?
Also does anyone know who can re chrome/repair stanchions?
I have one option which has just come up. A local guy is selling this for £100 as he needs to get rid of it for space as its blocking up his workshop. His plan was to rebuild for a project but he never had time.

It’s a cat B write off gk73a with what seem standard 76a forks, yokes etc. I’m only after the front end for parts.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to swap over stanchions on these forks, and is it easy? I can’t find any manuals for this bike anywhere so it does not help.
Also do any of the 73a parts fit the 76a? I was looking over the engine and it looks similar, however it looks like it mounts differently. What about the carbs, rads etc
I may be looking to pick this up at the weekend for a gamble. If I did would anyone want any 73a parts? They can go cheap as I would only look to cover some of the cost of the front end. I have been told the engine was running fine before he started to strip it.
Apart from what you see in the pick it has carbs, rads, airbox, ignition with keys, front lights, rear sub with lights. The rear wheel is in good nick with a good tyre. The frame looks straight but no good for the road. The front and rear discs look good two.
If anyone’s interested then please let me know. I’m based in Bournemouth.
Thanks for your help
