Testing the water

Post by binge »

Ok, Ive ridden some bigger bikes (ZX10R and GSXR750) and I have pretty much set my heart on getting a modern 600cc+ machine.
So at some point the NC29 is going to have to go.

Now im just testing the water here really and getting a reasonable asking price too.
Now the bike has been built from scratch. i bought a frame, and went from there.
It has never seen rain, so no rust or corrosion on anything.

Engine has covered 55,000 kilometers.
Rear fairing and fenders are OE parts, Nose cone and belly pan are 2 piece track fairings with custom head light holes made.
All sprayed in Audi Sprint blue. (99% mint paint work).

All the usual tart parts:
CBR600 rear shock
Front shocks were rebuilt by Collin at 100% suspension with stiff springs etc.
Carbon Can Co End can
Renthal med Grips
Oxford black bar ends
CRG levers
DB Tinted screen
Up and Back rear set adjuster plates
CNC machined Fuel filler cap

Rolling on almost new Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas.
New Chain and sprockets. 14 tooth front sprocket.

Small velcro reg plate (but still legal/legit looking)
Just had a recent service including new plugs, Leads, Oil, K&N Oil filter, New clutch less than 500 miles ago too.
Polished frame, forks and rims.
Fireblade Heel plates
Braided front hoses

The list is almost endless, I understand most of these mods do nothing for the value as alot of people appreciate a Stock NC29.

I was thinking in the region of £1300.
Oh I forgot to mention its Taxed and MOT'd until March.
