Nc35 Ohlins remote res.
I currently have an Ohlins rear shock complete with remote reservoir fitted to the ’35.
It was one of the few “upgrades”, - (and I use the word very loosely) fitted by the previous owner that I’ve left alone since the ongoing project of returning the bike to its state of once former glory.
I’m actually quite happy with the performance of the kit, and following further cosmetic/mechanical refinements, will probably be one of the last things I’ll be looking at overhauling.
One thing that is nagging though is the way it’s mounted. This is via a couple of ‘p’clips into nuts and bolts which pass through hole drilled into the tool kit enclosure in the undertray (see pics ).
I’d like it to look a little more professional, and preferably be attached to the frame for rigidity, albeit I’m not too enamoured with the idea of hacking the undertray about to get at the metal.
I’ve seen a rather sexy remote retainer from NK, but I don’t think its design would allow the remote to hang low enough to clear the undertray, even if I did take a scalpel to the plastic.
Any ideas?

The hose is way too long for it to look neat. You can get the hose shortened and the shock re-built at the same time.
