Put new HEL brake lines on & new oil & front brakes still 'feel' a bit squidgy (compared to my GSXR600K4), any ideas please?

Sounds like air is present. Try bleeding from the master cylinder end also.

If you ziptie the lever to the bars overnight that should encourage any bubbles in it to rise to the top - and make the lever much firmer than before..

i also found on the old RVF calipers when i had them if you have the pistons clamped right into the caliper, it makes it easier to expell and bleed through any air in the brake fluid.
