Cant tell wether my fan switches on or not...
Im having a little bit of trouble with my rad fan, basically i cant tell if it is switching on.
i know the engine is quite loud so is it loud enough to be heard at a standstill.
what temp (aprrox) is it supposed to come on.
my gauge has got over 90, to about half way maybe a little further on the gauge.
and this is in this cold weather, so im a little worried.

You will hear it. Its loud
Comes on around 105 or there abouts
Its normal for the bike to get that hot in warm conditions/heavy traffic/urban riding.

if you take off the left hand upper and lower fairing on the side of the lower radiator there is the fan switch screwed into it if you take the wire off the switch and ground it off the frame or use piece of wire to ground it #off the earth terminal on the battery the fan should run if not check the fuse if fuse is ok could possibly be the fan switch
