there will be one or two kncoking about that have gone in under the radar.....however, why not just take one from the uk with you?

Often seen in the "bikes wanted" section, rarely in the for sale section. They fetch a pretty fair price when someone does sell one.

very FEW and far between for any 400 in the USA.
being grey imports, US customs will impound it and you will have a right time getting it through.
my best advice is to find out what "mot/emissions" for the state you are going to, get the bike set up to them, split the bike in to bits! and ship it over as scrap metal/parts!
