iv seen that scheme on a 400 over here anyway. Easiest way to find out is ask the owner what the colour code on the bike is- then google it! Think the code is in the boot!

No, i dont think it is, but hey it looks good. It would have to be a 94 r model at least as thats when that design appeared. I cant tell if it is atm, as im using my phone.

Its not an original scheme but looks pretty cool any way. This scheme was on the CBR900RR Fireblade models only, in I think if memory serves me rightly, 1994

If you take the seat off, the original colour should be on a sticker on the frame rails or inner mudguard. It will say something like 'color NH-1' / 'code NH1K'

it's an n model which doesn't match up with what you guys are saying and checked the colour code in the back and it comes up as a pearl saphire black so it's been re-sprayed at some point then?

it's a shame really cos i bought it thinking i had some rare colours after being told they were.
but hey it looks good

cheers for the help

In that case it looks like this bike originally.

Doesn't matter that much that its not original, it looks like its a pretty decent job. Look at it this way, it might not be a factory special but its pretty unique.

Cant see I've ever seen another in the Urban Tiger colour scheme and if you like it ( and others judging by what the comments are on this thread, me included) then thats all that matters

Well they're right in that it's rare, I've seen a couple of 23's in this scheme but that's the first 29 I've ever seen, if it's a good paint job then some would say it's better than the colour it came in.
