Recomendations for an nc21

Post by nemesis »

Right first off no " get rid and buy a 30" lines ! lol

I got this bike really cheap so I can afford to play about a bit'

It came with a complete 24 rear end which I need to know what size tyre I can get on as it has a 120 on at present and that looks weedy. I was going to fit 24 panels and seats but that seems a shame as it has really good paint for an old girl and they didn't paint the 24 in the same scheme so I would have to change the lot or respray parts'

My girlfriend runs a 29 Gull arm which see says will eat the 21, she has airbox KnN fitted, rejetted and a scorpion exhaust, Braided lines , wavy discs and a few other bits. She forgot to say " You can't play with the 21" and she hasn't found this forum so I now have the advantage of many heads. Any advice would be welcome

Cheers Mark

The 24 has a 130 back tyre,

Not really sure what you could do to it to keep up with a 29 with a decent set up, just get some more practise in and outride her

But if you've got the money to play about with it, a decent set of tyres and suspension will be worth every penny!!
And then take it to a dyno to set it up properly. Not done this myself as i'm one of them skint students
But people on here who had it done swear by it!!

Get some pictures up :D lol
