3tj screens

Post by cagiva996 »

why are 3tj screens so expensive? with the hybrid refurb well under way i started looking for a new screen, dont want blue, smoked, iridium ,flip, or double bubble just a standard fzr400rrsp screen that isnt scratched or opaque thru age!am i looking in the wrong places?where do all you racers get yours from,im sure you dont pay 55 quid for a screen everytime you have an off(though i stand to be corrected)!.anybody got one of the chinese screens off e-bay for 20 quid, did it arrive and if so was it any good-cheers

You can polish out light scratches with brasso, the wadding type that comes in the small metal tin.
I did my 3TJ & CBR screens and they came up a lot better than i thought. Never going to get the deep scratches out but i was amazed at how many of the light scratches disapeared.

I still ended up buying a Dark DB for the 3TJ and am going to get one for the CBR too, i don't really like the purple one that's fitted at the moment.
I only please one person per day.
Today is not your day, tomorrow isn't looking good either.

Duraglit

You can use T'cut or G3 / G4 compound on them too ... and on the brake / indicator lenses

hi
I bought one from those guys
http://motors-parts.shop.ebay.co.uk/i.h ... 80&bkBtn=1
cost me 99p although the p&p was £21.98 haha got mine in smoked but they do em clear says 28 days delivery but mine came in a week, their also thicker than standard, if mine was standard to start with? and it fit's perfectly, the SP should be the same as the RR
there's even a clear one for 19.99 with free postage
