timing

on my nc23, it seems to start as i let go of the starter button! any ideas?..ted.also the choke dosn,t cause it to rev, and i,ve checked the cable?

Could be the volt drop whilst cranking is the battery weak or a bad earth.
Did you take up some slack where the cable clamps up onto the carbs.
