Powdercoating colour...
Im looking for some advice...
I am getting my wheels powdercoated end of next week.. I have refurbed/replaced all my panels to original RWB spec and got myself some NC29 wheels..
The only question now is colour choice....
Here is an old picture of the bike to give you an idea.. (wheels are now multi spokes and have since put the 600 engine in
)

I am thinking either pearl white (same as fairings) or maybe a metalic gun metal colour?
Any ideas?

I'm kind of swaying that way.. I think with a different colour it would have a modified look..
Not really after that right now..

They will hear me coming a mile off though, doh..
I will post up the details of where I'm getting them done if they do a good job.. good price

Have decided to do have them done in pearl white
Bit off topic but..I believe the RC45 white mirrors will fit.. Anyone have any for sale or know where to get them?

Mine will look similar to yours but with black wheels - I like having original colours but there's a bit too much white for me.

Having said that, why not go for matching blue or red wheels? Or both; blue front and red back?

I had a FZR600 in red, white, and blue that I had the wheels done gloss black, but the frame I had done in a satin black so the wheels went well with it...I kept away from white because of them showing the dirt up quicker...What about a gold colour?...I'm doing my NC23 at mo and will be having it sprayed in Rothman colours and the wheels will be gold...why not look at matching them to a shade of gold near that of the engine cases?

Re: Powdercoating colour...
Was thinking about dark wheels.. think I want it to look standard though
Wozza - Dark wheels will look nice, but think the frame would have to be dark too... Might get the frame powder coated a darker colour next winter.. I personally think that blue or red wheels on this bike might look a little tacy..
Wonderbot - have you got a picture of the fzr6 in those colours? Did think about a gold colour to go with the fairing strips.. I no longer have gold casings - silver now as new engine and the fork lowers are also silver.. Rothmans colours with gold wheels will look pretty trick..
Anyone handy with photoshop?

Ye I think I've still got pics of it on my pc I'll put one on tomorrow when I'm on it....I'm on my laptop at mo. Darker colour wheels would go a lot better with a darker frame and swinging arm in my opinion...I'm gonna do my swinging arm and parts of frame in satin black...gonna leave the main sides of frame in polished alloy just to be different, and to save polishing everything.

Pics of my old FZR600...The frame and swinging arm are in satin black and the wheels, engine casing, and fork lowers have been done in gloss black.Didn't go for gloss on the frame or swinging arm as I thought it was to much.I think it came out well when finished.

The Rothmans colours I am going for with the gold wheels.

The only sort of change I'm making is mine will have a satin black swinging arm and the bottom part of the frame will be satin black also and around the headstock and the section that goes either side of the engine.Everything apart from the polished beams below the petrol tank. The wheels are NC29 ones and will be painted gold with the engine cases in the same colour.I'm also looking at fitting a more modern tail piece.
