Honda anniversary NC29?

Post by Davez29 »

Anyone know about these NC29 schemes as found in a post at essex bikers or is it BS?
I absoloutely love my CBR400RR-R NC29, i got offered it from my wanted advert in MCN, it had 11,000 genuine miles, 1 owner since imported in 94, and fsh. It also was one of 50 NC29's to have the factory Honda anniversary colous

The VFR800 and blade had anniversary schemes on the 98/99 bikes

this CBR is a 94 on a L perhaps, so either honda decided it would have a bash 5 years early to test the water, or its horseshit and someone's been suckered.

So I suspect if no ones really seen these bikes here they dont exist, especially a 94 model but it is interesting that sa.racing thinks that something was different in 98 at least.

BTW sa.racing, I note you mention flatsides on later models, dont know what flat side carbs are but my carbs have a flat side on the carb slider which I thought was normal for the NC29.
