There are a few ways you could make it lighter. But little point. The money would be better spent on a set of wheels off an RS250.

Biggest gains are to be had by removing weight from the point furthest from the centre of the wheel. ie the rim.

Taking unsprung weight from the end of the swingarm cant be a bad thing, theres lots to be had by losing the stock caliper and bracket as well. I made a new underslung one that weighs 600g less, and the wheel goes straight in without the comedy juggling act.

Its a 2 bolt Brembo, fitted to lots of Ducati etc. I have lost track of how much weight removed this winter, but I think the complete swingarm is nearly a kilo less than when I started.

Could you easily make a bracket for the NC23?

It took over a day to make the one for my bike, but the first ones take longest.I did wonder about selling them, but havent had enough time to sort out how much a small batch would come to.Is the 23 much different? I made mine from 25mm billet,it could be profiled with a water jet, there is a lot of material to come off.About 50 percent went into the bin.

NC23 has different bracket and caliper, similar setup though.
