nc30 brake lever & master cylinder

hey guys, i need a brake level and master cylinder for an nc30. a complete assembly.

im dondering if i should just get the stock original ones, or if there are some better / performance / better quality assemblies out there?

if you have these, or know of where i can get them please reply with a link! for stock and performance part.

Iv got an r1 mastercylinder that will be for sale as soon as I get it off the bike and can sort a replacement, comes with res and lever... £35 posted

off my nc30, iv got cbr900 calipers which are bigger so need an even bigger master as their still a little too much lever travel for me (I like my lever far out and not much movement), the r1 one should be a decent improvement over the stock one if you using stock calipers tho

sounds good.

how will this r1 setup make my lever feel? i too like it firm with not much travel.

if you have pics that would be great.

Don't want to piss on your parade here Spike.. ;)

@ Dan - I see you are looking for an m/c to match the cbr6/blade/Sp style calipers - this R1 jobby is not what you want.

You need a 5/8 size - approx 16mm - which is what I use (and Honda spec) for the calipers you have.

This is a larger bore adn so will be squidgy with awesome power til it crushes the fingers on the bars....

yeh if you want cbr calipers then this isnt the master 4 u I dont think (wasnt for me anyway) if your keeping the stock calipers then this will do fine

hi sorry to jump in but could do with a bit of info , iv got an isr mastercylinder with stock calipers , wot would be the best calipers to fit to match the isr cheers carl44

CMSMJ1, thanks for the input.

so what m/c should u get for the upgraded brakes ? im guessing an m /c of of the same bike i get the brakes of would make sens?

ex. if sp1 brakes - sp1 m/c ?

Yes, pretty much. I have the CBR600FX calipers and use a 1999 blade m/c - My brakes are wicked.

@ carl - depends on your ISR bore size - if it ain't broke..don't fix it ;)
