thinking about upgrading you brakes?
hi all, after starting a thread a while ago about what m/c to use when upgarding to sp1/cbr600rr/cbr900rr calipers, i thought that when i got me blade master cylinder (cbr900rrv) id strip it down and have a look. i found that the pistons are EXACTLY the same, as is the actual body ( i measured id with a vernier). i cant say if the cbr600fx one is different but i wouldnt think so as its not as powerful as the blade, so im just thinking that if you do upgrade theres no need to change the m/c! hope this helps :D
the one on the left is from the blade

Er, I thought it was the RRW and RRX onwards that had the different m/c and the RRV was the same as the NC35.
Certainly my RRW m/c I have is marked with a different bore size (5/8 IIRC) than the NC35 (14 IIRC).
