Ignitech CDI help.....please....
Hi Guys,
Well ive finally got my bike running after a very hard and long season of problems....
I recently tested my nc30 at cadwell last sat and she ran superb......well almost.
I did the morning on the bike running the ignitech cdi and it work very well, was nice and smooth and she pulled through the gears great, even my quickshifter was sweet!! except when i was flat out in top gear the needle didnt rev right up to the redline but just short of it!! as if there was a limiter stopping it going further?????
Anyways at lunchtime i swapped the ignitech over to the standard cdi, the bike felt slightly more pokey and she revved right through to the red line when flat out, but the only draw back is it made my quickshifter run slightly irratic, sometimes it worked and then it didnt.....
What i want to know is, is there an idiots guide to to adjust the ignitech and to make it work better with the bike??
Any help would be much appreciated.....oh and its got the hrc mapping on it, which was on it when i got it off Rick O..
