My NC30 today...

... wouldn't have wanted to be on any other bike while out playing on Surrey roads until it got dark today. Bloody love it on greasy roads. Just enough go, not too much in and out of corners and easy to chuck about.

I think there is a bit of a love affair starting again with the NC30 and riders of "far bigger more powerfull bikes"
Suddenly the 80's and 90's bikes are a bit cool again, and the little NC30 is at the top of everyones wish list all of a sudden.
It may be the recent press and articles, but with lots jumping on the bandwagon its clear alot of high powered sportsbike riders are enjoying the little NC30 and actually having fun without being scared to death. Those that normally dismissed it as a girls bike are trying them and enjoying them too.
So for the aftermarket boys who couldnt wait to trash your OE plastics and look in favour of something that a stunt rider would happily use to get airborn on his mx bike, i hope you kept your plastics. demand for good original bikes is only going one way - upwards.

I wish i could convince some of my bigger bike riding mates to get a NC. There an absolute riot to ride fast on the road and even tho my other road bike is a K7 gsxr which IMO is a bloody good bike that does everything very well id still chose the NC over it for anything but a A to B ride

It's parked a safe distance away from the very shiny slabby and ducati so they won't catch anything . I intend to use the NC again very soon so not much point in cleaning it really for a while

You are dead right on 2 points.
Do we really need 180mph bikes to have fun, and we should keep our original parts fot the NC.
I have been riding my RC30s and other similar bikes for the last 18years, [and older bikes since 1961] but the road conditions, police, cameras , traffic density make it difficult to go on our way withhout problems.
It may because I am about to draw my OAP that I prefer the 400s, but they really are the best bet for sensible road riding,
My original/ standard NC 30 and 35 are just what I need.

I did manage a grin on mine today just hooning about when the roads began to dry up. Been going a little bit easy to bed in my Pirelli Diablos :)
