Post by Deviant400 » Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:07 pm

hi all i thought my speedo cable broke but it turns out the little white cog thing in the speedo drive on the sprocket cover has rounded off where the cable slots in , not sure what this part is called or where i can get a replacment, any ideas where i can get one or anyone on here has one lyin about they dont need
actually its not where the cable goes in its where it attaches to the speedo drive unit pin thing , cable goes in the other end hehe

You mean the plastic cog that is driven by the front sprocket? These are are a known problem, especially when you have a stiff speedo cable, they tend to grind up.

Somebody on here was making aluminium replacements, i'm not sure who it was.

I'm sure it's part number 44808MR7013
