fairing brackets
It might sound stupid but i need to know what bracketry is on the cbr400 NC23.
Well put it this way, when i got the bike i could grab the bottom of the nose cone and move the whole bodywork up and down a few inches!
I tightend the big screw in the nose cone and that's made the panels not move but surley more supports the panels than just that one screw.
I think there should be some sort of braket on either side that screws to the side fairings i guess???

Re: fairing brackets
Yeah it's got a screen mount.
It looks like it has all the support it needs up front. It's just the sides that worry me. Other than a little mounting in the bottom corner of the bellypan there's nothing connecting the side fairing to the frame :D
Seems weird to me.

Re: fairing brackets
you should have number 17 and 29 of the pic andy has put up
they are brackets that come from the frame and hold the side fairings on with 2 fairing screws on either side

I didn't think they would be lol.
Ahh well, looks like i'll be knocking some up myself. Might ring honda but not so sure they'd still do them.
I rang them a few days ago after the bearings and bushings for the rear shock linkage. Apparently they've stopped producing just the bearings and bushings they will only sell the nut, bolts and seals or the entire linkage which is £120!!
