Please help
Hi, can anyone shed some light on this?
The bike was running ok, except it would not go over 100mph (normally does it easy) too much oil was put in the engine and when i gave it some tring to clear it. It choked and blew out a load of blue smoke. and then chuffed when it was ticking over.
I have replaced the rings, head gasket and ground the valves in. Fresh oil and filter but it is still doing the same, the block and head both looked ok and no oil water mix when I drained it.
I have been asked if the breather is blocked but the only one I can find on top of the head it blowing out ok.
I'm about to throw it in the river. please help if you can. It runs ok with out any knocks or bangs.
Thanks
Ernie

Re: Please help
What do you mean by choke?
Too much oil was put in the crank case?
There are only a few places oil can get into the cylinder from, did you check the valve stem guides/seals?

No offense intended, but no sh!t, you filled it too full of oil and it had to end up somewhere, there is no way to clear it unless your rings or other engine parts are stuffed!!erniegogs wrote: Cause = when it presurised, it filled the carbs with oil and mixed with the fuel.
