FAO - All Attending - Cadwell 01/10/09 - SOS

Post by dx400r »

Right heres the situation. Found a 2mm deep 1.2cm long gash in the middle of my tyre. The tyre holds pressure but I wouldnt trust it to the track.

I have about 16 hours before I decide I have to cancel.

So the question is:
Does anyone have a set of scrubs/090's/spare 92's that I can buy off them get fitted by the nearby tyre dudes or something....

On top of money for the tyres theres a beer in it for the person who digs me out the shit!

Thanks muchly in advance.

A front or a rear?

Either way, I am sure I can sort you something out - if a rear 17 or 18?

For those wondering - right now my wheel sizes are 17" front 18" rear

matty_boy,

When you say there aint much life left in em, how bad are they? Just wondering as they need to survive a good few sessions and get me 150miles home without begging to be pulled by the 5.0 ;)

CMSMJ1,

Ideally both :) Just so they both get along.

Thanks everyone for your quick responses. Just getting what I know together.

Just incase anyone needs to find me on the day im ghey and white leathers, Bright Yellow semi-naked NC30

Geoff,

Thanks. I replied to your PM with a few questions!

Are you riding up there the night before or first thing??

We are going to get a greybike hook up on the go so drop us a PM with your number and we'll sort out where everyone is going to be.

I've got Hipringle and Geoffs and they get there Weds night..we'll rendesvous with them I guess?

sorted my racebike out just now...all good

I have a pair of useable tyres I was going to fit for my road bike..so I'll bring them and if you want them we can sort it. Geoff is always good for goodies too.

Edit!

Looks like im staying at Millers Lodge about 6 miles from Cadwell nearer the centre of Louth itself. Was too late in booking a room for the Green Man - I snooze I lose.

Will still manage to meet up with you lot with a bit of organisation :)
