Bandit Slow to pickup speed and stalls when coming to a stop
Having some trouble with responsiveness off the mark. The bike gathers speed very slowly up to around 5k revs and then i get full power. It is particularly noticable in 1st and 2nd not so much in the higher range. Have had the carbs off and fully cleaned them and the jets out, adjusted the floats and fitted new rings.
Bike starts fine and runs great at speed. Problem only really appears when taking off from a stop (or near stop). The bike also stalls randomly when coming to a stop i.e. full clutch and coasting to stop. (It's not the idle setting i've checked it multiple times) Is the stalling related?
Have been told it may be the slides sticking or that the float hieght may need increasing.
Any other ideas?
