Major leak

Post by scotjell »

I have an NC30 and have a serious leak from somewhere? Looking at it it seems to be coming from between the V on the top. So could it be

1. One of the screws that hold the cam gears in place
2. Possibly where the rubbers are on the generator or the pick up.

There are no leaks from the heads and resolved a leak from the tell tale holes on the side of the head with new rocker joint.

If it is the bolts that hold the cam gear can i replace the seal/washer without stripping everything apart from the usual tank, air box and carbs oh and the coolant pipe for the rear one.
