newbie help on rear wheel please

hi ive been a guest on this site since i got my nc24 reading old posts which has been a great help getting it repaired as when i saw this bike i just hadto have it witch was strange as i hadnt been on a bike for 17 yrs and had no intrest till i saw this one but the only thing im unsure of is the rear wheel as it seems very thin to other 400cc bikes is there any thing i can do or im i just being an old fool :wanker: about it cheers if any one can help

It is how it is. The original GSXR750 had a 140 tyre too....so I doubt your VFR is going to need a larger tyre on it.

It was also designed to handle properly with the right sized tyres so I'd leave it.

Get some pics up anyway...must be a tasty bike if it fished you in so successfully!

FZR600's of the same era as the nc24 had a 130 rear tyre!

thaks to who replyed to my last post but i need some real help now went out on sat bike was great went to go out yesterday bike just wouldnt start just turned over i thought it was the reg/rec so i put a new one on bike started fine so went out but it pulled away like it was in 2nd gear and took ages to go through the rev range i managed to get 60mph in 3rd but at a struggle its got a real loss of power please can anyone help thanks :pray:

The NC2x's have a 130/70/18 as standard.
