fitting a blue flame exhaust to my nc30

Post by ibby4585 »

Hi,

Can someone tell where to cut the pipe on my exhaust so that i can fit my blueflame can?? the pipe has already been cut but much higher up near to the rear footrests. i tried putting it on the end of that cut but two things happen.
1. the blueflame end can goes way past the indicators and numberplate (looks ridiculous) and fouls the the foot rests
2. the link pipe adaptor i have got doesnt fit. it is far to large for the exhaust.

i have measured the two bits the exhaust diameter is 50-54cm and my link adaptor is 62-63. these are outer diameters. if i cut the exhaust further down does exhaust diameter get bigger??

any info would be great!! piccys would be really helpful!!!!

your link adaptor is too big you need one that sleeves down to 50-52mm as like the one on Banoffee's bike.

That link looks like it is off a much larger bike and is too long...
