Firing order
Hey peeps hope you're all good.
Quick Question - hopefully!?!?!
Can anyone tell me how to attach the sparkplugs to the coils in the right order (preferably in laymans terms)
Thanks in advance
Harry

Re: Firing order
PS No 1 is the cylinder far left.mrdidlydingo wrote:
A few bits of data which I have learnt during my time solving this hopefully some will be of use to those who search for NC29 misfire !
LHS coil feeds cylinders 1 & 4
Cylinder 1 from top lead
Cylinder 4 from lower lead
RHS coil feeds cylinders 2 & 3
Cylinder 3 from top lead
Cylinder 2 from lower lead
No 1 Primary coil wire black & white
No 2 Primary coil wire black & white
No 3 Primary coil wire blue & yellow
No 4 Primary coil wire yellow & blue
(second colour is the stripe)
Plug Gap 0.8 to 0.9 mm & makes a big difference if not correct
Fuel pump is not constant 12v but a pulsed feed from the coil wires
Hope this of some use to someone someday !

Re: Firing order
OK seem to be a little confused (STUPID).
let me see if I have this right. (if I am sat on the bike working left to right)
No 1 lead from head goes to left hand coil front port black and white lead
No 2 Lead from head goes to right hand coil back port black and white
No 3 lead from head goes to right hand coil front port Blue and yellow
No 4 lead from head goes to left hand coil back port Yellow and Blue.
Sorry I attempt to put it in kids format first time doing this and had so many unexpected problems along the way I can't afford any mistakes at this stage.
Thanks again

Re: Firing order
The way you have written it out there appears to be correct.
