Polishers NC30

Post by Polisher »

Well guys, its nearly done, at long flaming last

Ive just got the body work back from Lonsdale Bike in Nelson who repainted the whole thing for me. The only decals on at the moment are the honda wings on the tank and the 'honda' on the top fairing. Everything else has been painstakingly painted, all the striping on the tank and fairing are painted and believe it or not the stripe around the tailpiece is painted.

All I need to do now is speak to Brooky on the site and get him to make the VFR, force V4, and 400R decals etc.

then I just need to get some decent pics, MOT, Tax and then............................winter, what a bummer. I knew that I shouldnt have started it in April, should have started it in winter then at least I would have had the summer on it

Ive known Steve at Lonsdale for 20 odd years now so he said he'd do it at 'mates rates' and return a few favours,
having said that he did have the bodywork for four very, very long months ( I suppose thats what yo get when youre not paying the going rate)

He hasnt billed me yet, keeps saying he hasnt got round to it, never know it might be another 4 months. lol!

I'll keep you informed.

The photos dont do it justice tho, its the best job I have ever seen and I and the worlds pickiest shit!!!!
