stator rewind
just got the stator out of my bike and its burnt out wheres the best place to have it rewound on the south coast because a new one is £145 cheers

I used this guy, years ago, to have my NC30 unit rewound.
Alternator specialist : R. E. Williams (Teignmouth) 01626-772791
Would be worth getting in touch to see if he is still trading. I kept the details in case I needed them, but haven't.
Can't remember how much the rewind cost, but he used uprated wire apparently and the result looked right professional. It has since coped with high wattage headlamps & at least 7 winters of 'dark-each-way' commuting without incident. I use a 9AH battery and a Honda Reg/Rec - sorted.
